BluL!nk is an asset tracking infrastructure device that serves as a data gateway to link Bluetooth based devices (i.e. tags or sensors) with the ALPS ALPINE Connect platform. Utilising an advanced Bluetooth protocol, BluL!nk's smart technology allows the transfer of sensor or tag data without being physically connected. This allows an unlimited amount of Bluetooth tags or sensors to be monitored, including position information. This dramatically reduces costs compared to earlier solutions with sensors being constantly connected to a nearby Bluetooth device. The range even gets extended when using a special App, offered by ALPS ALPINE, on customer’s smartphones.
